Costs for Obtaining a Trademark Right

The total cost varies depending on factors such as whether a trademark search is conducted and the number of goods or services for which protection is sought. As a general guideline, the total cost from filing through obtaining a trademark right is approximately JPY 150,000 to JPY 250,000 for one class, including tax, our professional fees, and official fees payable to the Japan Patent Office (JPO).
